Welcome to Innovation Pod

Innovation Pod is a unique set of cutting-edge, extra-curricular programmes designed to help children develop the skills they need to be successful in the 21st century. We teach children how to develop a mindset of resilience and perseverance; how to overcome failure and embrace challenges; how to be innovative within a design concept; and how to lead others.

Coding

Coding is the century’s education buzzword, and it has good reason to be. A knowledge of coding gives children the ability to build games and websites and to develop new digital technology.

Mad Science

Our STEM courses are a multi-disciplined exploration into the world of scientific investigation. Children studying in this pod will receive a certificate from the British Science Association which can form part of their Record of Achievements.

Debate and Public Speaking

In this pod, children learn the art of oracy, which refers to their ability to fluently express complex ideas and opinions. Our pupils will present, debate, challenge and defend opinions in current affairs, politics and philosophy.

Podcast Club

Our Podcast Club introduces pupils to the exciting world of digital media. Children develop communication, teamwork, planning, and presentation skills as they create, record, and produce their own podcasts in a structured and engaging environment.

Number Fun

Number Fun is an engaging maths enrichment club designed to strengthen pupils' numeracy, problem-solving, and logical thinking skills. Through practical activities and interactive challenges, children build confidence and develop a positive attitude towards mathematics.

Creative Me

Creative Me encourages pupils to explore their imagination through a variety of creative activities, including arts, crafts, design, and themed projects. The club promotes creativity, self-expression, fine motor development, and confidence in a supportive environment.

MultiSports

Our Multi Sports Club introduces pupils to a wide range of sports and physical activities, helping them develop coordination, teamwork, resilience, and sportsmanship. Sessions are designed to promote an active lifestyle while improving fundamental movement skills and confidence.
