Years 1 & 2
Children in KS1 will be studying our exhilarating Tynker and Coding Art. In our module, ‘Tynker’ the pupils learn the core skills of sequences, events, loops, conditionals and boolean as they navigate through adventurous landscapes and mystical worlds. Coding Art is a relaxing module where children create beautiful pieces of art through code. They’ll be learning the fundamental skills of coding, including: sequences, repetition and selection but our focus is all about art in this module.
Years 3 - 6
Children in KS2 will be studying our thrilling Virtual Reality and Machine Learning modules. In our ‘Virtual Reality’ module, children learn about the emerging and exciting world of VR. They then design and build VR worlds in three dimensions which they code to be interactive. Parents and carers will be able to view the children’s learning from home on a phone and/or a VR headset. This Machine Learning module uses the free online resource Machine Learning for Kids in combination with the Scratch coding platform to provide children with hands-on experience for training machine learning systems (AI) and building things with them.
