We’re excited to announce that we will be offering our Award-winning Coding & Robotics Club at South Grove Primary. Due to COVID restrictions, we will initially be offering this to Year 2 and Year 5 only but we hope to open up the club to all year groups in the new academic year.
Coding & Robotics is our most popular course for children of all ages. We teach the pupils about the fundamental elements of computer algorithms, such as Events, Loops, Variables, Functions and Conditionals. In each term, we teach these skills in two modules: one which is a web-based coding platform and one which focuses on physical robotics. Each term, has new modules, new coding platforms and new robots which help our pupils learn to transfer their coding skills across different media.
In the Summer Term, KS1 children will get to play with the fantastic Pro-bot and Code.org while our KS2 children will build a range of digital devices and learn about complex algorithmic features.
